Walk for mental health research

The Rotary Club of Kinglake Ranges is hosting their inaugural LIFT THE LID WALK in 2024!

 

These walks are a great way to spread awareness of the 1 in 5 Australians

who are suffering from a mental illness.

Help us Lift the Lid on Mental Illness this summer by walking with us! 

All proceeds go into mental health research through Australian Rotary Health.

The Details so far: 

When: Sunday November 17th, 2024

​

What: 

A walk for our community

Where:

Meet at Kinglake Community Centre, 1 Exton Rd Kinglake Central Walk
will start at 9.30am following the walking path down towards

Kinglake and then up Deviation Rd and back to Community Centre.

​

​Following the walk , on the grass area below the Community Centre there will be a

Show n Shine Car, Bike & Music Festival.

​

Who: 

Anyone who has been impacted by or cares about Mental Health – dogs on a lead are welcome.

Entry fee: 

$30 for adults, early bird prior to Nov 1st include an event t-shirt. Kids 15 and under walk for free.

You will be able to purchase t-shirts for kids via the ticket site.

Support your local community, break down the barriers and stigma associated with mental health

and help raise funds for mental health research. Today's research is tomorrow's treatment and cures.​​
