Walk for mental health research
The Rotary Club of Kwinana are hosting their 2nd annual LIFT THE LID WALK in 2024!
These walks are a great way to spread awareness of the 1 in 5 Australians who are suffering from a mental illness.
Help us Lift the Lid on Mental Illness this summer by walking with us!

All proceeds go into mental health research through Australian Rotary Health.
The Details so far:
What:
A WALK not a race and only just over one kilometre, about twenty to thirty minutes.
Starting from the Bendigo Bank Branch at 4 Challenger Avenue, the walk finishes at
Kwinana’s highly awarded Adventure Playground at Calista Oval.
The walk will take place on footpaths and crossing at traffic lights.
The event finishes with a free BBQ sausage sizzle provided by the
Rotary Club of Kwinana, a coffee van will be on site.
Who:
Anyone who has been impacted by or cares about Mental Health
– dogs on a lead are welcome.
Entry fee:
$30 for adults which includes an event t-shirt. Kids 15 and under walk for free.
You can purchase t-shirts for kids via the ticket site.
Early bird adult ticket sales before April 19th will receive a FREE t-shirt!
Registration:
Registration online, with t-shirts available for collection from 10 am before the walk which commences at 11 am on 5th May 2024. Late registrations can be made on the day with credit card facilities, but t-shirts may not be available.
