Walk for mental health research
​The combined Rotary Clubs of Maitland are hosting
their inaugural LIFT THE LID WALK in 2025!
​
These walks are a great way to spread awareness of the
1 in 5 Australians who are suffering from a mental illness.
Help us Lift the Lid on Mental Illness this summer by walking with us!
​
All proceeds go into mental health research through Australian Rotary Health.

Details: ​​
When: Sunday April 6th 2025. Walking starts from 9am.
Where: Walk to start and finish in the grassed area eastern side of Maitland Aquatic centre.
What: A Walk and Talk, NOT a race. The walk will be conducted on pathways in Maitland Park with Rotary Club Marshalls provided to halt walkers at road crossings when traffic is present.
Who: Everyone who has been impacted by or cares about Mental Health - dogs are welcome!
Entry fee: $30 for adults with everyone receiving an event t-shirt.
Kids 16 and under walk for free. You can purchase t-shirts for kids via the ticket site.​
Registration: From 7am - Please register and collect t-shirts. You can register from 7am on the day, credit card facilities available.
